PASTURE RAISED EGGS
We manage around 600 layers which we run in 2 small flocks of 300. We holistically graze these birds outside on pasture year round. Our birds are only ever supplemented with an organic soya/gm free food. This is our own specially designed recipe that we have developed for our birds using all Scottish ingredients.
PASTURE RAISED CHICKEN
We seasonally rear birds for meat here at the farm. They are reared on pasture which creates a more natural environment allow them to access forage and exert their natural behaviours. They are supplemented with a soya/gm free food that we have developed using all Scottish ingredients.
GRASS FED BEEF
We holistically manage small herds of cattle. The cattle are 100% grass fed. They move daily allowing them to mimic nature and access fresh pasture and diverse swards. This keeps the cows healthy and happy. It also benefits the ground allowing grazed pasture time to fully recover whilst allowing an increase in biodiversity and soil health.
GRASS FED LAMB
We holistically manage a small flock of sheep that run with our cattle. They are 100% grass fed and move daily to access fresh pasture whilst allowing grass longer recovery times to increase soil health and biodiversity in the sward.
ORGANIC MARKET GARDEN
Seasonally we produce fruit and vegetables in our small market garden. We enjoy growing tomatoes, cucumbers along with lots of fresh greens. We update our social media pages when these available.
ORGANIC ORCHARD
We have planted a silvopasture orchard in our fields. The orchard consists of mixed apple species, mixed plum and soft fruits that are organically grown without the use of any chemicals or fertilisers. By utilising the same space that the animals graze we are able to get more food in the same area in a sustainable way.
